Works like a charm. No longer do I have to wait for my wine to aerate. The only thing is that some guests were not aggressive enough about tilting the bottle so that the wine fully goes down the sides of the aerator. When that happens, it just pours through, and there is no aeration. Have fun with yours.

These are great and a good price on amazon vs anywhere else I looked online. Not only do they work - we've done blind taste tests and everyone can tell a difference in the wine and prefers the areorated one, but they also always act as a great conversation piece when people start asking about what you are pouring their wine through. When you pour some wine through this into a glass and also pour some just fom the bottle into a glass...taste the aerorated one, then the non and you always notice a sharp almost bitter taste with the non aerorated pour! We are usually drinking Pinot noirs, red zinfindels, merlots, Cabs, Pinot grigios, and rieslings in the $8-$20 price range just for reference! I'm not sure a $5 bottle is going to transform into something it's not, but you also don't need to be drinking very fine wines for this to make a big difference!

Great cooler backpack for family outings by Mateo's Mom
I'm very pleased with this backpack. We use this for family outings to the zoo, museum etc.



All the great points:

-It is comfortable to wear all day which is very important.

-It fits quite a bit of food in the cooler part for our family of 3 WITH room to spare

-The 'gear' bag on top holds a good amount of extras such as light jackets, change of clothes for our son and a few other odds and ends.

-'Gear' bag cinches closed as well as has 2 secure buckles.



Here are a few other things to note:

-The cooler does get a bit smooshed when you've taken all the food out as another review had said. It's not that big a deal unless you have to put it down a lot, it's not as sturdy for standing up (when top heavy due to the top being full). I have a plastic insert from a previous cooler I own and I'm going to put it in next time to see if it helps keep it more rigid - but, the pack is meant to be on your back anyway).

-The extra pocket on the front seems a little tight to me. I would prefer a bit more material there so it's easier to get things in and out. It's not terrible, I would just prefer a little more space.

-I used ice packs and didn't have any condensation or wetness the way another reviewer said. I think they said they used ice so maybe their bag leaked?



What I wish it had:

-A hidden inside compartment to hold money or credit card

-A water bottle holder on the outside of it.



Overall, very happy with the insulated backpack, it was just what I was looking for and the price point is great too. I've only used it once but it appears to be of good quality so we'll be able to use it for a long time.

I have no problem with this product. After opening a new bottle of wine, using this product properly saves the fresh flavor of the wine. It generally takes me about a week or two to finish a standard bottle of wine. I can really tell the difference this produt makes over that time frame.

I previously had another wine saver that pumped out the air, but you had to guess how many pumps and it didn't always hold a seal. This wine saver has solved both of those problems. You pump out the air until it clicks, so you know to stop pumping, and everytime so far it has held the seal as it should. It's nice when a product does what it says it does. No disappoint here, only smiles.
