Wine opening made easy by John O'BrienWhen I first saw this electric wine opener I was a little skeptical. I mean battery powered, come on. But after watching the review video, I thought, "give it a try". On the first bottle of wine I opened the cork would not come out of the opener. I thought well I've been had. Bummer. As I looked at the situation and tried to figure out what went wrong, I noticed that the cork was turning with the corkscrew. I put my finger on the cork to prevent it from turning and it came right out!!!
I have since opened at least ten (10) bottles and every one worked perfectly. No more putting a finger on the cork. Maybe it just needed to cycle once. I love it and it makes opening wine so easy.
